The International Capital Market Association (ICMA), International Swaps & Derivatives Association (ISDA) and the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) will hold a one-day conference, ‘Capital Markets & the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Delivering Liquidity Through Derivatives, Repo & Securities Lending’, in Riyadh on 19 February 2025, which will coincide with the 3rd Annual Saudi Capital Market Forum organised by the Tadawul Group.

This unique event will bring together key local stakeholders, including regulators, leading regional financial institutions, and global market players in the derivatives, repo and securities lending markets, to discuss the ongoing development of the capital markets eco-system in the Kingdom, and how the three products can play an integral part in the provision of secondary market liquidity, along with regulatory developments, the evolution of crucial netting provisions, and the integration of Sharia-compliant market structures.

The full agenda, to be published in due course, will feature keynote presentations from senior dignitaries and government officials, as well as in-depth discussions within expert panels. In addition to ample networking opportunities, delegates will also have access to educational workshops to deepen their understanding and build their engagement in these key market segments.
