Christophe Beuve is currently the Head of Bond Markets and International Operations Division in the Directorate General of Market Operations at the European Central Bank. He joined the ECB in 1998 and has occupied various positions in the asset management and monetary policy implementation areas. Prior joining the ECB, Christophe worked in the money and foreign exchange markets departments at the Banque de France. He also worked at the International Monetary Fund for two years and at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for eighteen months.

Julien joined the DWS Group in 2012 with 10 years of industry experience. Prior to joining, Julien served as Head of ETF Portfolio Management at HSBC Asset Management. Previously, he was a Financial Engineer at Sinopia Financial Services and Deputy Head of Trading at Sinopia Asset Management.
Julien has a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from Lumiere University Lyon 2; Postgraduate Degree in Portfolio Management and Financial Analysis from University Lille 2.

In January 2022 Fredrik joined ISLA as a Public Affairs Advisor.
Based in Munich, Germany, Freddie will engage with all industry stakeholders supporting ISLA’s work in the EMEA region. The focus is to further develop the relationship with market regulators and policy makers in Europe advocating the role of securities lending in the financial markets. Freddie will work closely with member firms and industry organisations supporting their needs and requirements in developing the industry.
Freddie brings with him over 30 years of financial markets experience working both in trading and in senior sales roles in the securities lending industry with JP Morgan, Dresdner Bank and most recently as Global Head of Sales and Client Relationships at Deutsche Bank in London.

Adrian joined ISLA in January 2019 as Head of Regulation & Markets group. In this role, he manages the associations work on regulation, technology, and market practices of the EMEA Securities Lending markets.
Adrian has over 30 years of experience in financial services including diverse roles in product development, business analysis, IT development, trading, and operations at BNP Paribas, Barclays and BNY Mellon. Prior to joining ISLA Adrian was head of product development for SFTR at IHS Market.

Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.
Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).
Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.

Farrah joined ISLA in September 2019 and is Director – Regulatory Affairs within the Regulation & Market Practice group.
Farrah provides invaluable support to this strategically important part of the Association’s focus, by working with the various workstream coordinators to monitor and assess EMEA financial regulations, including Tax, that have potential to impact the securities lending market.
Farrah reviews regulatory implementation, consultations and manages industry working groups, whilst monitoring updates from policy makers & National Competent Authorities to maintain best practice documentation.
Prior to ISLA, Farrah occupied client service and desk support roles within derivatives and securities lending middle office, as well as in asset servicing operations, for J.P Morgan Chase.

Dr. Mike Rinker joined Union Investment in 2008 and is responsible for all legal questions concerning the portfolio management, in particular master agreements, instruments, trade- and transaction reporting, clearing and DLT. He heads EFAMAs Trade and Transaction Reporting TF and also advises ESMA in that area since many years. He is an active member in working groups of further associations such as the Investment Association, the BVI and ISLA.
Mike has been doctorated at the University of Giessen for his work on “Contracting in the electronic trading system of exchanges” in 2002. He is an author of books, commentaries and essays about weather derivatives, securities lending, restructuring and other. Prior to joining Union Investment, he worked as a lawyer in Munich, Atlanta, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt.

Stefan Schneider is Chief German Economist and Head of German Macroeconomics Research Deutsche Bank Research in Frankfurt since November 2013.
Born in Marburg in the state of Hesse, Germany, in 1960, Stefan Schneider moved into the economists‘ world by entering the economics department of Philipps University in his home town. In 1987, after only four years – remarkably quick by German standards – and equipped with an honors’ degree, he started his professional career at Deutsche Bank’s Economics Department in Frankfurt, as German Economist. After getting to grips with the German economy, he moved on to London in 1991 to become European Economist at Nomura Research Institute. His transfer back to Frankfurt in 1992 made him Chief Economist at Nomura Research Institute Deutschland. A further career move led him 1994 to S.G. Warburg’s Frankfurt branch, again as Chief Economist. A year later he was offered the post of Chief German Economist at Banque Paribas in Frankfurt. In 1998 he became the Chief European Economist. After nine years of absence he was asked to rejoin Deutsche Bank in 2000 as Chief International Economist and Head of Macro Trends at Deutsche Bank Research.

Andrew Scrivener is an Executive Director and Head of Bank Resource Management (BRM) for Morgan Stanley Europe SE, based in Frankfurt.
BRM is responsible for secured funding, collateral/margin optimisation and holistic management of the Institutional Securities Group’s financial resources (Equity and FI assets). Andrew has worked in the Securities Financing industry for over 20 years, initially focussing on Equity Securities Lending with both Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank before returning to Morgan Stanley in the BRM department. Since Brexit, his focus has been on planning and execution of the funding strategy for the new entity whilst continuing to cover the DACH region clients for Securities Financing transactions.
Andrew is both a UK and German citizen and a graduate of Loughborough University Business School. He has spent his entire career working in the financial industry in Germany.
