Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.
Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).
Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.

Farrah joined ISLA in September 2019 and is Director – Regulatory Affairs within the Regulation & Market Practice group.
Farrah provides invaluable support to this strategically important part of the Association’s focus, by working with the various workstream coordinators to monitor and assess EMEA financial regulations, including Tax, that have potential to impact the securities lending market.
Farrah reviews regulatory implementation, consultations and manages industry working groups, whilst monitoring updates from policy makers & National Competent Authorities to maintain best practice documentation.
Prior to ISLA, Farrah occupied client service and desk support roles within derivatives and securities lending middle office, as well as in asset servicing operations, for J.P Morgan Chase.

Michael leads the State Street Global Markets Macro Strategy team, blending more than 20-years of strategy expertise with academic rigor and alternative data.
His innovative approach analyses investor behaviour, media narratives, and online inflation, earning top ranks in industry surveys and accolades for his contributions to the Journal of Fixed Income and the Journal of Investment Management.
Along with his co-authors his recent research on inflation determinants won the Harry M. Markowitz award for best paper in 2023.
Beyond academia, Michael has shared his insights on money printing and funding climate change in two TED talks, attracting over two million views; demonstrating his ability to communicate complex economic concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
A Cambridge economics graduate, he is a fixture in the financial media and at industry conferences. Originally from Newcastle, Michael lives in in London with his wife Veronica and children, Charlie and Pia.

Rudolf Siebel is responsible for Legal, Statistics & Research and IT at BVI, the German Investment Funds Association.
Mr. Siebel represents the interests of the fund industry on the Technical Committee at the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and on the DIN Standards Committee for Finance (NAFin). He is a member of the European Commission Expert Group on European Financial Data Space (EFDSEG) and the associated Open Fincance subgroup. Furthermore he is a member of the Trading, Reporting & Market Infrastructures Standing Committee (TMR SC), Benchmark- and Money Market Funds Working Group of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA). He was appointed to the Product Advisory Committee of the Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTI PAC) and to the Governance Advisory Committee (GAC) of The Derivatives Service Bureau. He is also a board member of the German Asset Management Standards Committee (GAMSC) the Coun-try Sponsor of the GIPS in Germany.
He was a member of the ESMA Post Trade Standing Committee Consultative Working Group (PTSC CWG), the EU Commission European Post Trade Forum (EPTF), and the German SEPA payments council jointly organized by the German treasury BMF and Deutsche Bundesbank. Until April 2019 he served also as Vice Chair of the International Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG).
Previously, he was a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer – with Moody´s Investors Service and responsible for analysing and rating money market, bond investment funds as well as life insurance. Mr. Siebel started his career as counsel for securities investment and international law with BVI.
He is a trained German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) and holds a Master of Law degree from Georgetown University, Washington D.C.

Géraldine joined Societe Generale in 1993 and has been running cash and repo desks on Core European debts for 20 years. After spending a couple of years on a more transverse role as a coordinator for Fixed Income and structured financing, Geraldine moved to the sales side in 2019 to look after the global markets financing solutions. Geraldine is also responsible for optimising the leverage ratio regarding commercial activities. In 2019, she was appointed Head of Financing Solutions for Global Markets Sales and Head of Financing and Client Profitability in February 2023. Géraldine has also been co-sponsor of Women in MARK since 2022.

Travis Whitmore is Head of AI and Trading Analytics at State Street Associates, the partnership between State Street Global Markets® and renowned academics at Harvard Business School, MIT, Boston College and EDHEC. His team is responsible for developing Machine Learning models and innovative predictive analytics for several market making and financing businesses. He is also responsible for driving research initiatives for State Street’s Financing Solutions business.
Travis spent close to three years in Frankfurt where he led State Street Associate’s research initiative in continental Europe, working with institutional clients across the EU 27 to deliver custom advisory projects and quantitative research insights. Prior to his role in Europe, Travis worked closely with Harvard Professor Ken Froot to develop innovative investment applications with State Street’s proprietary custody flows and holdings information. Additionally, he worked with State Street Associate’s academic partners at MediaStats to research how investors can leverage digital media sentiment indicators in their investment decision-making. Travis has developed numerous quantitative investment models, published research in the Journal of Portfolio Management, and is a frequent presenter at research conferences. He was awarded the “Rising Start Under 30” industry excellence award for 2023 from the Securities Finance Times for his research on the securities lending market.
Travis earned a degree in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Vermont.
