Chiara Bacchetti oversees Strategic Collateral Management in Intesa Sanpaolo, a new area created in 2021 with the purpose to ensuring the management of all the Group’s Collateral requirements for strategic, regulatory and business purposes. She is strategically involved in diverse types of Financing products, Collateral Management, as well as optimization of liquidity, balance sheets and collateral across asset classes and intragroup.

Chiara has been in Treasury and Finance Department for over 19 years and has previously managed the Repo and Collateral Management business. Prior to ISP, Chiara had different roles in Investment Banking with experience across the financial markets. But much of her career has been spent in the secured financing world.

She holds degree from Bocconi University in Economics and Business and a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science and Decision Making.

Jessica Caputo is an accomplished financial executive with a robust background in securities lending, equity derivatives trading, and liquidity management. She currently serves as Executive Director at UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking in Milan, where she focuses on optimizing the bank’s short-term funding and collateral strategies. Prior to this, Jessica held a similar executive role at Goldman Sachs in London, managing equity loan trades and portfolios tied to special situation. Her career began at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, where she developed her skills in credit trading and equity financing. Jessica holds a master’s degree in economics and finance from Bocconi University. Outside of work, she is passionate about supporting women in finance and co-founded a platform for female students pursuing careers in the field. In her free time, Jessica enjoys cooking, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Luca Cazzulani, is a member of UniCredit’s Cross Asset Investment Strategy team and specializes in fixed income analysis with a strong focus on the EMU. Luca has an MSc in Econometrics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a PhD in economics from a joint program between the Università Cattolica and the Università Bocconi.

Gioia Cellai is the Head of the Market Operations Directorate at Banca d’Italia, responsible for the Bank’s monetary policy and investment operations, collateral management, emergency liquidity assistance as well as debt management services for the Ministry of Finance.

She has a degree in Political Science, with a focus on international studies. She joined Banca d’Italia in 1991, first working in foreign exchange trading and reserve management. In 2011 she became Head of the Official Reserves Management Division; in 2016 she was appointed Deputy Head of the Operations and Payments Settlement Directorate, mostly dedicated to post-trading. Since 2020 she covers her current position.

She is a member of the Eurosystem Market Operations Committee, of the Euro short-term rate oversight Committee and advisor to Assiom Forex.

She has authored publications on the management of central bank’s reserves and has represented the Bank of Italy in a variety of international forums.

Adrian joined ISLA in January 2019 as Head of Regulation & Markets group. In this role, he manages the associations work on regulation, technology, and market practices of the EMEA Securities Lending markets.

Adrian has over 30 years of experience in financial services including diverse roles in product development, business analysis, IT development, trading, and operations at BNP Paribas, Barclays and BNY Mellon. Prior to joining ISLA Adrian was head of product development for SFTR at IHS Market.

Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.

Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).

Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.

Alistair joined ISLA in January 2024 as Director – Business Development.

Alistair is responsible for ensuring ISLA’s services meets the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East & Africa. Alistair leads on strengthening relationships with ISLA’s current member firms, identifying growth opportunities across the securities finance landscape, and developing services and strategic partnerships that enhance ISLA’s memberships offer.

Alistair brings extensive experience of securities lending from both a buy and sell side perspective. Before joining ISLA, Alistair was Director of EMEA Sales at Baton where he was responsible for growing Baton’s solutions in the region. Prior to Baton, Alistair built experience across financial services, working at some of the largest and most respected institutions in the world including Bank of New York Mellon, BlackRock, and UBS.

Massimo Magni is an accomplished sales and senior executive with over 20 years of experience mostly in financial risk management for corporates. He is a Civil Engineer entered into Banking & Finance after a Master in International Economics and Management at SDA Bocconi He spent his whole career in UniCredit and is currently running the global team of Corporates Treasury Sales with presence in core countries of Germany, Italy, Austria and Central & Eastern Europe, after more than 15 year in sales and 2 years as Deputy Head of Markets Italy. Massimo has a deep knowledge of the corporate derivatives world and has a proven record of solid results, successful commercial initiatives and strong leadership over a team of 230 young and senior sales.

Farrah joined ISLA in September 2019 and is Director – Regulatory Affairs within the Regulation & Market Practice group.

Farrah provides invaluable support to this strategically important part of the Association’s focus, by working with the various workstream coordinators to monitor and assess EMEA financial regulations, including Tax, that have potential to impact the securities lending market.

Farrah reviews regulatory implementation, consultations and manages industry working groups, whilst monitoring updates from policy makers & National Competent Authorities to maintain best practice documentation.

Prior to ISLA, Farrah occupied client service and desk support roles within derivatives and securities lending middle office, as well as in asset servicing operations, for J.P Morgan Chase.

A rich and diversified 25 years experience in an asset management company (insurance group), preceded by an 8+ years investment banking background on OTC derivatives (equity and fixed income).

Regional Executive and Senior Executive responsible for some of our largest global clients as well as General Manager of the Italian Branch of BNY Mellon’s European Bank. Member of the EMEA Executive Committee and of the Extended Executive Committee of BNY Mellon’s European Bank with responsibility / focus on ESG and Digital.

With 30+ years career in the financial sector, Adriana is a member of a small team of executives with broad experience and knowledge in the industry, who are responsible for developing key strategic relationships globally with a selected number of Financial Institutions, coordinating the delivery of the breadth of BNY Mellon’s products and services to these institutions.

As Regional Executive Adriana’s responsibilities include the development and delivery, in conjunction with key business heads, of a regional vision and strategy for sustainable growth as well as to assist and help coordinate all region-specific activities and relationships, including regulatory and compliance matters.
