Michael Beraha

Michael Beraha is the Country Executive leading BNY Mellon’s presence and responsible for all local business activities in France whilst chairing the Clearing and Collateral Management business contracted across the European Bank. He is also the Senior Client Executive for a handful of strategic clients’ global activities.
He has been the General Manager of the European Bank’s branch since October 2016 and prior to that, its Deputy Branch Manager since 2011. Michael was responsible for the Broker/Dealer sector in Continental Europe, having joined BNY Mellon in 2005 in London following a 10 year career at Clearstream Banking where he had growing responsibilities in technology, operations, client services and sales across Custody and Triparty Repo business lines.
Michael is an active Male Ally supporting gender equality, diversity and inclusion in and outside the firm, in partnership with our Women Initiatives Network (WIN). He is also a member of the EMEA Digital Council and avidly collaborates with FinTechs that offer novel and sustainable capital markets solutions. A member of the Sustainability Council since inception, Michael also fosters US-EU commercial relationships as a board member of the European American Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
Michael studied in London at Queen Mary College where he obtained his BA in European Business & Hispanic Studies and is also an alumnus of the Bayes Business School where he later studied for his Executive MBA in Finance.

Ernst is responsible for ensuring the team maximize revenue generation and optimize funding for funds and clients by using Securities Financing techniques (Stock Lending, Repo and Reverse Repo) – Book of more than €250Bn lendable assets. His role is also to support the investment management activity by increasing market information transparency and facilitating specific fund / clients management strategies.
Ernst joined AXA IM in 2006 as Senior Quantitative Analyst. He gradually took different responsibilities as Senior Risk Manager, Senior Structurer between 2006 and 2013. He became Head of Structuring and Solutions Development in 2013, focusing on multi-assets, alternatives investments and OTC derivatives solutions.
Ernst holds a Msc. in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from University Lyon II and a Msc. Financial Engineering from ESLSCA Paris.

Kristell joined Societe Generale in 2012, in the short term cash bond trading team in Paris, then moved to the short term repo desk, specializing on non-governmental debt. She also had prior experiences with Societe Generale’s Credit and Equity Derivatives teams, working for the Special Situation Group in London in 2009, and at a later date for the Index Arbitrage team in New-York until 2012. Since early 2020, she has joined the Sustainability Solutions team within Global Markets activities, as a product developer. Kristell graduated from ENSAE in 2010 and, during her final year, obtained another Masters Degree in quantitative finance from the University Paris Diderot.

Stéphanie est Directrice générale de l’AMAFI. Elle a plus de vingt ans d’expérience dans le secteur bancaire (banque privée) et financier (marchés actions, taux et change ainsi que gestion d’actifs), au sein d’institutions françaises et étrangères. Précédemment membre du Comité exécutif de la Banque Neuflize OBC et Group Compliance Head d’ABN AMRO en France, Stéphanie s’est impliquée également dans des activités de conseil en gouvernance d’entreprise et finance durable. Après avoir débuté sa carrière chez Crédit Agricole Indosuez, elle a ensuite occupé des postes de direction chez JPMorgan à Londres et Paris puis chez AXA Investment Managers.
Diplômée de l’EDHEC et d’un MBA de l’Université Laval au Canada, Stéphanie est également titulaire du certificat Administrateur de Sociétés de l’IFA-Sciences Po et administratrice indépendante.

Isabelle Martz began her career in 1996 in CIB activities of the French bank Credit Agricole, first in the General Inspection team and then as deal structurer in Equity Capital Markets. She joined Societe Generale in 2004 where she managed various CIB activities in finance & accounting, Structured Financing operations & projects, in Paris and Hong Kong. She moved to Bangalore in 2011 to lead growth and lean management programs for the Group and she opened the Chennai office in 2014. She was appointed chief of staff of the CEO from 2015 to 2018.
