<p>Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. As well as leading our advocacy efforts with policymakers and regulators, he is also responsible for defining the aims and objectives of the Association and ensuring that we meet the needs and requirements of our member firms across Europe, Middle East &#038; Africa. He regularly participates in panel discussions at conferences and events, representing the interests of the industry and advocating the importance of securities lending to the efficient functioning of the broader capital markets.</p> <p>Prior to joining ISLA, he held senior product and account management roles across the securities finance industry including Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Prudential M&#038;G and IHS Markit (formerly Data Explorers).</p> <p>Before joining the world of capital markets, Andy worked in commercial and corporate finance banking including aerospace finance.</p>

<p>Adrian joined ISLA in January 2019 and is Head of Regulation &amp; Market Practice. In this role, his focus is on all regulatory matters that impact Securities Lending and the technical processes that support and underpin that market.</p> <p>He has over 30 years of experience in financial services including roles in product development, business analysis, trading, operations and IT development. Prior to joining ISLA, Adrian headed up product development and relationship management of the SFTR product at IHS Markit.</p>

<p>David Shone has a decade of experience in delivering strategic technology deliveries, to support new business initiatives, and new regulatory obligations.</p> <p>David recently moved to ISLA as a contracted consultant to drive and contribute to their Digital Agenda and CDM development.</p> <p>Prior to that he was employed by State Street to set-up their Operating Model for an Equity Swaps business, and subsequently designed State Street GM’s SFTR Operating Model globally.</p> <p>Asset class experience includes Equity Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX and Securities Lending, with UBS, Barclays Capital and State Street.</p> <p>David has a Masters in Physics from Imperial College, and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business &amp; Technology.</p>

Leo joined Goldman Sachs in 2003 as a Trading Strat for Fixed-Income, Currencies and Commodities and was named Managing Director in 2010.</p> <p>Leo graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 2001 and holds two MSc. from Ponts &amp; Chaussées and UPMC Paris VI with majors in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering.</p>

<p>Nigel Cobb, Senior Data Modeller</p> <p>With over 20 years experience as an Operations leader in the Derivatives markets, Nigel’s core expertise is in leveraging technology to deliver process transformation and industry change.</p> <p>Nigel is Senior Data Modeller at REGnosys where his principal responsibility is to partner with ISDA in the continued development of the ISDA CDM. Prior to that Nigel was the Global Head of Derivatives Trade Management at Goldman Sachs. He was responsible for establishing the Operations data modelling function, a core component of the firms regulatory response strategy.</p> <p>Nigel graduated from The University of Warwick and holds a BSc in Management Sciences.</p>

<p>With over 10 years experience within Securities Finance sector, Saeid has proven record of accomplishment leading complex global projects that drive organizational transformation and growth in the era of digital disruption.</p> <p>Prior to working for REGnosys, Saeid started his career at dataexploeres (now IHS Markit), before joining Brown Brothers Harriman, on their Securities Lending trading desk. After BBH, Saeid undertook various front and middle office Securities Finance focused projects with leading global investment banks including JP Morgan, UBS, and State Street.</p> <p>Saeid holds an MSc in Machine Learning from UCL and he is currently undertaking his MBA at the same university.</p>

<p>Jim is a Senior Engineer at REGnosys with over 10 years’ full stack engineering experience working in and leading teams to deliver innovative technology solutions in tier 1 investment banks, fintech start-ups.</p> <p>Since 2018, Jim has worked with ISDA and its membership to develop the Common Domain Model, along with its ecosystem of adoption and integration tooling. Prior to joining REGnosys in 2017, Jim designed and implemented domain models and workflow processes to meet regulatory obligations in the Fixed Income division of Goldman Sachs, where he was named Executive Director in 2013.</p>

<p>Ian Sloyan is a Director for Market Infrastructure and Technology at ISDA, where he leads ISDA’s Common Domain Model initiative. He joined ISDA in May 2014. From 2008 to 2014 he held was various roles in Equity, Credit and Interest Rate Derivative Operations at RBS. Prior to that he was an Executive in Structured Capital Markets at Barclays and worked in Equity Derivative Operations at UBS.</p> <p>Mr. Sloyan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, Master of Science degrees in Electronic Engineering from King’s College London and Mathematical Trading &amp; Finance from Cass Business School.</p>

<p>Dharmendra Kapadia is Associate Director, Data Strategy/Architecture and Governance at EquiLend, the global financial technology firm for the securities finance, collateral and swaps industries. At EquiLend, he is working on the firm’s initiatives in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Dharmendra is an accomplished senior technology executive with more than 25 years of experience in developing and executing business technology solutions and strategies. Before joining EquiLend, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Engineering and Operations at nova IQ, an AI and ML services firm. Before that he held senior technology and consulting roles at Ness Digital Engineering, Apollo/Gravitas, Oliver Wyman Group, Goldman Sachs and Proctor &#038; Gamble. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.</p>

<p>Carlton Orola is Associate Director, Data Strategy/Architecture and Governance at EquiLend, the global financial technology firm for the securities lending, collateral and swaps industries. He has spent 15 years at EquiLend, serving in multiple roles including Client Services, Integrations and Product Development. In his current role, he is responsible for incorporating leading-edge technology into the firm’s architecture and processes to enhance the client experience. Previously, he was a key contributor in the development of NGT, the securities finance industry’s most active trading platform. Prior to joining EquiLend, he launched a successful startup focused on developing inventory and estimating software. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.</p>

<p>Matt has 20 years experience in technology and has spent 14 of those in securities finance, leading technology teams in a variety of initiatives.</p> <p>Matt joined Pirum in 2014 where he has led the technology team and grown the software engineering and support capability to build out a new, innovative services to support our clients and the address the challenges and opportunities of a changing market. Most recently delivered the market leading SFTR solution in partnership with IHSMarkit.</p> <p>Prior to Pirum, Matt started his technology career at M&#038;S in Finance IT, then went on to lead the European securities lending technology team at Citi to deliver inventory management and trading tools. Matt has a BA in Computing and Information systems from the University of Brighton.</p>

<p>Chris is a specialist in the FIS Global One Engineering team with a track record of over 25 years of successful delivery in the financial services industry.</p> <p>As an expert in the entire software development lifecycle, Chris excels in delivering client focused, roadmap and regulatory enhancements to the Global One product suite. An accomplished Scrum Master, Chris proactively helps Agile teams introduce new business and technical functionality, and encourages collaboration, better efficiencies and increased automation.</p>

<p>Ted Allen is Director of Business Development for FIS’ Securities Finance and Collateral Business. With many years at the forefront of securities finance and collateral management market developments at a broad range of market participants, he has led the creation of FIS’ innovative and unique platform to manage, trade and optimise collateral. FIS delivers a compelling solution to the challenges of securities finance and collateral market reform and the global regulatory environment.</p>
