The International Securities Lending Association (ISLA)’s regulatory and policy activities are a key element of the association’s work. Through our market practice and regulatory driven working groups, we work with our members and relevant advisors on the development of responses to specific legislation and policy initiatives. These various groups act as a forum to reach market consensus on topics of common interest. This allows ISLA to proactively work with the regulatory community as a single point of continuity for the industry.
As part of our dialogue with the regulatory community, ISLA maintains good relations with regulatory, fiscal and government authorities around Europe and more broadly in North America and the Middle East.
Please find in this section key areas covering ISLA’s regulatory and policy initiatives, including Taxation, Banking, Markets Regulation, Investor Protection and Sustainability.
