It was great opportunity for ISLA to participate in the discussion as the long-term ambition to foster a framework for securities lending through collective investment schemes (CISs) was discussed.
ISLA has worked with its members to respond to a number of Spanish consultations supporting lending from CISs and if the Ministerial Order is approved in the coming months, it will be a monumental development for Spain leading to an increase in supply and liquidity for the Spanish Capital Market.
