Regulatory Reporting

In December 2023 the ISLA Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) Working Group was renamed the ISLA Regulatory Reporting Working Group in order to cover a wider regulatory remit. While still focusing on Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR), the Regulatory Reporting Working Group has scope to also monitor developments in the SEC’s 10c-1a, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and Short Selling Regulation (SSR) with member firms and other industry stakeholders, including fellow trade associations through multiple working groups and outreach streams.

The working group contains representatives from buy and sell side participants, vendors and tri-party agents; an important conduit between the market and regulatory bodies such as European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and National Competent Authorities (NCAs) as we look to define best practice for reportable data points and life cycle events.

Any latest working group minutes can be found below, further SFTR updates can be found on our dedicated SFTR page.
