Gareth is Global Head of Investment and Execution within UBS Group Treasury. In his role he is responsible for Investing the liquidity portfolio of UBS, Collateral Optimization across the UBS Group and the Repo Trading book. The investment portfolio consists of investments for regulatory HQLA as well as investments of excess liquidity for the firm in a multitude of products: Repo, ECP, Cash, Bonds and TRS.
Gareth joined UBS in 2004 as a graduate after completing a Master’s Degree in Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Since then he has performed a number of roles and worked in both the London and Zurich offices.
He contributes to a number of market based forums including chairing the European Repo and Collateral Committee and also serving as a member of the Board for ICMA for UBS.

Harpreet has been in the securities financing business for 17 years, and in her current position based in London, she is responsible for the management of the Trading Services Digital business as well as the Agency Securities Finance product. Her role includes strategy setting and working closely with sales and trading to deliver client solutions. She began her career in J.P. Morgan in 1999, and since joining she has held various roles. Prior to securities lending, she spent 5 years as an internal auditor for Investor Services, and before audit, she worked as a legal entity financial controller with responsibility for controls and accounting advisory. Harpreet sits on the International Securities Lending Association’s Board of Directors and is also a member of the Bank of England Securities Lending Committee. Passionate about gender diversity and inclusion, she co-leads Women in Securities Finance, London, an independent industry group which champions the advancement of women across the Securities Finance industry. Harpreet holds a first class Honours degree in Business and Financial Services.

Alessandro Cozzani is a Managing Director and Head of Asset Optimization Group (AOG) for EMEA and APAC at Bank of America. He is globally responsible for collateral trading and funding for the Equity Division.
Alessandro leads the team responsible for funding the Equity Division as well as managing its balance sheet, capital and liquidity usage across legal entities. AOG focus on regulatory changes and requirements for the individual Lines of Business (LoB), acting as the central point of contact with Treasury and CFO Risk. Alessandro also works with Finance to implement asset and RWA targets and limits for the Equity Division. Alessandro manages and trades all these functions as a central hub, providing pricing to each LoB for their financing requirements and optimizing the Division’s inventory.
Prior to joining Bank of America in 2013, Alessandro spent 3 years at Citigroup where he headed the Americas Equity Funding Desk. Before that, Alessandro was with Morgan Stanley where he began his career working in the Equity Finance Desk.
Alessandro holds a MEng from Imperial College London. He is Deputy Chair of the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA). He is also a member of the Bank of England’s UK Money Markets Code Sub-Committee.

Andy joined ISLA in 2013 and took over as Chief Executive in mid-2016. Stephen Fisher joined Deutsche Bank in 2023 as the Global Head of Government and Public Affairs. In this role Stephen is responsible for leading Deutsche Bank’s engagement on regulatory policy and geopolitics, in the Bank’s home markets of Germany and the EU, as well as globally.
Stephen has over two decades of regulatory policy experience, most recently at BlackRock where he spent 13 years as a senior member of the Global Public Policy Group, based in Brussels and London. Prior to BlackRock, Stephen has worked for seven years in trade associations representing European banks and in the public sector in the UK for the then newly created Financial Services Authority (now Financial Conduct Authority) and HM Treasury.

Robert joined HOOPP in 2000 and is the Senior Managing Director, Collateral & Balance Sheet Management. His focus is on the optimization of large portfolios of collateral for both equities and fixed income assets and he has been a driving force in helping HOOPP become a global leader in both collateral and liquidity management.
In addition to his core responsibilities, Robert inspired the development of HOOPP’s in-house collateral management software (FLASH), which integrates fixed income, equities, derivatives, securities lending and borrowing, repo and FX Trading into one cohesive platform.

Jack Inglis is the Chief Executive Officer of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA*), a position he has held since 2014. He has been in the financial services industry and closely involved with hedge funds for over 40 years. Jack has held senior management positions at both Morgan Stanley, where he served for 16 years, and Barclays, where he was prior to joining AIMA. From 2007 to 2010 he was CEO of London based hedge fund manager, Ferox Capital Management. He served as a non-executive director of London Capital Group plc from 2007 to 2010 and was on the on the board of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA), which was co-founded by AIMA, until the end of 2023. He began his career in 1983 at UK stockbrokers James Capel (which was subsequently acquired by HSBC) and has extensive experience in origination, distribution, financing and trading across the fixed income and equity capital markets. Jack holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Cambridge University.
Jack is also Chair of the charity HFC Help for Children UK Affiliate Board and took up this role in January 2020.

Cormac currently chairs the ISLA Legal Documentation Sub-Group.

Mr. Morrissey joined The Vanguard Group in 2005 as a securities lending trader. Prior to joining The Vanguard Group, he served as an analyst and international trader at The Bank of New York in the American Depositary Receipt division.
Mr. Morrissey received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Saint Joseph’s University in 2001 and a master’s degree in financial engineering from Temple University in 2011.

Scott O’Malia is Chief Executive Officer of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA), a position he has held since August 2014. At ISDA, Scott has led the Association’s drive to promote safe and efficient markets and develop industry standards and legal documentation. This includes a push to develop common standards to enable greater technology applications, bringing greater innovation through scalable fintech and regtech solutions.
ISDA is a global derivatives association that represents all derivatives users on key industry issues, including trading, clearing, reporting, margin, capital and legal standards. During Scott’s tenure, Scott has brought greater focus on market infrastructure issues – in particular, the cross-border harmonization of global central counterparty regulation, trade execution and data rules.
Prior to joining ISDA, Scott served as Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). While at the CFTC, between October 2009 and August 2014, Scott revived the Technology Advisory Committee, and led an active agenda investigating data standardization, highlighting trade execution rules and developing a better understanding of how algorithmic trading operates in regulated markets.

Bryan Pascoe took over the role of Chief Executive of the International Capital Market Association in September 2021, assuming responsibility for leading ICMA’s work with its global membership of over 600 entities representing all constituent participants across all regions in the international debt capital markets. The primary mission of ICMA is to promote resilient, well-functioning and globally coherent fixed income markets through both effective regulatory advocacy and the advancement of best practice. ICMA’s mandate covers all elements of primary, secondary and repo and collateral markets with core focus also on Sustainable Finance and the application of Fintech and Digitalisation to the future of capital markets.
Prior to joining ICMA Bryan built up almost 30 years of experience across investment and corporate banking, global markets businesses and bank treasury functions in London, Hong Kong and the Middle East. Most of his previous career was spent at HSBC where he held high profile and large-scale leadership positions across both prominent front-line business areas and critical functions including Global Head of Debt Syndicate, Global Head of Debt Capital Markets, and Group Treasurer and Head of Asset, Liability and Capital Management through times of considerable market development, challenge and disruption. He has extensive direct experience of the Asia-Pacific financial and capital markets, and is a Permanent Resident of Hong Kong where he lived between 1995 and 2005.
Bryan began his career in 1992 on the Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Analyst Programme.
