On 24 January 2024, ISLA in association with Citi will be holding an in-person educational briefing for new or recent entrants to the industry, who are looking to further their fundamental knowledge of the Basel framework.

Subject matter experts as well as experienced securities finance professionals will share their knowledge and insights on the topic, explaining what it is as well as who it will impact and how.

This will be followed by a structured networking opportunity, allowing attendees to meet and discuss their thoughts and experiences with peers.

As places are limited, priority will be given to securities finance professionals who are new to the industry or their role, and therefore want to further their regulatory knowledge whilst increasing their network.

Through our ISLA Connects initiative, we plan to run a series of educational briefings throughout 2024.

ISLA Connects aims to provide a forum for ISLA member firm representatives to network and connect in a structured environment, have access to educational opportunities, and enable ISLA to reach market participants who may not have the opportunity to interact with us via our Working Groups or Annual Conferences.
