In recent times, we have observed a number of ‘influences’ on financial markets, regulation being by far the most dominant. Whilst that remains a constant and permanent feature of our industry,  sustainability, social responsibility, and the role of technology are increasingly defining our collective values and behaviour. At the same time, and in a world where ‘influencers’ too can impact beliefs and drive outcomes, we are seeing an increasing prevalence of interest groups and digital-led offerings. Together, they represent a series of new frontiers.

This autumn, ISLA will be delivering a series of informative panels, presentations, and discussions as part of a Securities Finance Forum, to explore these new frontiers and their implications for our markets. Ahead of these sessions, ISLA will be delivering its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2021, which will reflect upon much of the work the Association has carried out over the past twelve months.
